[ARCHIVED] Thanksgiving Break Day Camp

The City of Las Cruces Parks & Recreation Department will offer a three day, Out-of-School Time school-age program that will fill your child’s holiday break with creative and innovative opportunities.
 
 Through the program, children will participate in individual and group activities that will extend a child’s recreational, social, and learning experience.
 
Registration for the “THANKSGIVING BREAK DAY CAMP” will begin Wednesday, November 10 and can be completed online at http://www.las-cruces.org/play or during regular business hours at the following locations. No telephone registrations will be accepted.
 
 Registrations will be accepted at these locations during the following times: 

  • Parks & Recreation Department Administrative office, 1501 E. Hadley Ave., 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Thursday, and from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday.
  • Meerscheidt Recreation Center, 1600 E. Hadley Ave., 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday to Friday, and from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.
  • Frank O’Brien Papen Community Center, 304 W. Bell Ave., 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Friday.

*Space is limited, registration is first-come first-served.*
 
The “THANKSGIVING BREAK DAY CAMP” is FREE!!! The camp is for children grades kindergarten through fifth (K-5) and will be at Meerscheidt Recreation Center, 1600 E. Hadley Ave. The camp hours and dates are 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, November 22 to November 24. Breakfast, lunch, and snacks will be provided.
