Would you like to learn more about the history of cattle drives in New Mexico or about the importance of ranching in the state today? Thomas Branigan Memorial Library invites you to participate in our “Cowboys and Cattle Drives” program at 2 p.m. on July 2nd via Zoom.
Michaela McBurrows, the Instructional Coordinator for the New Mexico Farm and Ranch Heritage Museum, presents the hardships and rewards of life on a New Mexico cattle drive. Join her to become familiar with the cattle breeds of New Mexico. This program is part of the “Tails and Tales” Summer Reading Program events held at the library throughout the summer.
