Consolidated Plan
The City of Las Cruces is developing a new Consolidated Plan for all activities that are funded by the U.S. Dept. of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). This plan will cover the HUD Program Years 2021-2025, which corresponds with City Fiscal Years 2022- 2026.
Last chance for public input!
Notice is hereby given that the City of Las Cruces will hold four public hearings on the draft needs, priorities, and strategies for the 2021-2025 City of Las Cruces Consolidated Plan, Analysis of Impediments to Fair Housing Choice, and the 2021 City of Las Cruces Action Plan.
The Draft document will soon be ready and will be posted here. The Plan (draft) will be available for review and comment for 30 days beginning on Monday, March 15, 2021. These documents will be submitted to HUD no later than May 14, 2021.
Public Input Needed
The City needs your input about about how to spend the federal housing and community development funds it will receive during the next five years (2021 - 2025). Activities must generally benefit low and moderate income persons. The final public hearings will be held via ZOOM Meeting in March/April and you can always comment via email at: ngreen@las-cruces.org. For more information about this process, go to the HUD Exchange.
