[ARCHIVED] NMSU Sports Calendar Through February 23

In support of New Mexico State University, particularly its athletic teams, included is a schedule of upcoming home sporting and away events of interest of Aggies men’s and women’s teams. For ticket information call 575/646-1420.

The schedule of upcoming events includes:

Men’s basketball:

  • Seattle University vs. NMSU, 7 p.m. Thursday, February 13 at the Pan American Center. The game will be broadcast on Zia Country 99.5 FM. The game will be televised on Fox Sports Arizona Plus, Fox Sports Southwest Plus, Fox College Sports Pacific, and AggieVision. The game will be webcast on the Fox Sports Go app the WAC Digital Network. Game promotions: Hat giveaway to the first 1,000 fans. Wiener Dog Race at halftime.
  • Utah Valley University vs. NMSU, 4 p.m. Saturday, February 15 at the Pan American Center. The game will be broadcast on Zia Country 99.5 FM. The game will be televised on The El Paso/Las Cruces CW, Fox Sports Arizona, Fox Sports San Diego, Fox Sports Prime Ticket (Los Angeles), Altitude Sports, Fox Sports Southwest Plus, Fox College Sports Pacific, and AggieVision. The game will be webcast on the Fox Sports Go app and the WAC Digital Network. Game promotion: 50th Anniversary and Reunion of NMSU’s 1970 Final Four team.
  • University of Texas Rio Grande Valley vs. NMSU, 7 p.m. Saturday, February 22 at the Pan American Center. The game will be broadcast on Zia Country 99.5 FM. The game will be televised on AggieVision. Game promotion: Hall of Fame Game. Inductions of Andrea Kabwasa, Darrell Martin, Wendell McKines, and Chris Williams into the NM State Athletics Hall of Fame.

Women’s basketball:

  • NMSU at Seattle University, 7 p.m. Thursday, February 13 in Seattle, Washington. The game will be webcast on the WAC Digital Network.
  • NMSU at Utah Valley University, 2 p.m. Saturday, February 15 in Orem, Utah. The game will be webcast on the WAC Digital Network.
  • NMSU at University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, 11 a.m. Saturday, February 22. The game will be webcast on the WAC Digital Network.

Softball:

  • Omaha vs. NMSU (doubleheader), 3 p.m. Friday, February 14 at Presley Askew Softball Complex. The game will be webcast on the WAC Digital Network.
  • Omaha vs. NMSU, noon Saturday, February 15 at Presley Askew Softball Complex.
  • NMSU vs. Indiana University – Purdue University Indianapolis, 10:30 a.m. Friday, February 21 in El Paso.
  • NMSU vs. Omaha, 1 p.m. Friday, February 21 in El Paso.
  • NMSU vs. Indiana University – Purdue University Indianapolis, 10:30 a.m. Sunday, February 23 in El Paso.

Indoor Track and Field:

  • NMSU at the Don Kirby Invitational, all day Thursday, February 13 and Friday, February 14 in Albuquerque. The indoor meet will be webcast live on FloTrack.org.

Baseball:

  • Texas Southern University vs. NMSU (season opener), 3 p.m. Friday, February 14 at Presley Askew Field. The game will be broadcast on KRUX 91.5 FM. The game will be webcast on the WAC Digital Network.
  • Texas Southern University vs. NMSU (doubleheader), noon Saturday, February 15 at Presley Askew Field.
  • Texas Southern University vs. NMSU, noon Sunday, February 16 at Presley Askew Field. The game will be broadcast on KRUX 91.5 FM. The game will be webcast on the WAC Digital Network.
  • Iona vs. NMSU, 3 p.m. Friday, February 21 at Presley Askew Field. The game will be broadcast on KRUX 91.5 FM. The game will be webcast on the WAC Digital Network.
  • Iona vs. NMSU (doubleheader), noon Saturday, February 22 at Presley Askew Field.
  • Iona vs. NMSU, 11 a.m. Sunday, February 23. The game will be broadcast on KRUX 91.5 FM. The game will be webcast on the WAC Digital Network.

Women’s Tennis:

  • NMSU vs. Santa Clara, 11 a.m. Sunday, February 16 in Tucson, Arizona.
  • Southern Utah vs. NMSU, 2 p.m. Saturday, February 22 at the NMSU Tennis Center.

New Mexico State Athletics Hall of Fame:

  • Hall of Fame Induction Dinner, 7 p.m. Friday, February 21 in the Barbara Hubbard Room at the Pan American Center. Dinner is preceded by a Social Hour at 6 p.m. Friday, February 21 on the southeast concourse at the Pan American Center. Tickets are $40 per person. Reservations deadline is February 19. Reservations should be made by email to Nicole Gomez at nicolemg@nmsu.edu.
