Father and Daughter Shimmer and Shine Dance will be February 28

The City of Las Cruces Parks & Recreation Department will offer the “Father/Daughter Shimmer and Shine Dinner Dance” from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 28, 2020, at Frank O’Brien Papen Community Center, 304 W. Bell Ave.

Girls ages 5 to 12-years old are cordially invited to spend a special evening with their father, grandfather, or that special man in their lives. Create a special, long-lasting memory! The fee will be $ 21 per couple and $10 for an additional sibling. Dinner, entertainment, and a memorable photo are included in this magical night.

The deadline to register for the Father/Daughter Shimmer and Shine Dance is February 14.

Payment can be made by clicking on the online registration link at www.las-cruces.org/play, or at any of the following locations during regular business hours:

  • Parks & Recreation Department Administrative Office, 1501 E. Hadley Ave.

8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Thursday, from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday.

  • Meerscheidt Recreation Center, 1600 E. Hadley Ave.

8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday to Friday, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.

  • Las Cruces Regional Aquatic Center, 1401 E. Hadley Ave.

6:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday.

  • Frank O’Brien Papen Community Center, 304 W. Bell Ave.

8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Friday.
