Welcome Santa as he makes his way from the North Pole to Las Cruces in a BNFS locomotive. Come and take your picture, enjoy toy train displays, crafts and holiday treats for the whole family.

TREE LIGHTING CEREMONY
Enjoy City departments' arts and crafts booths. For the first time, the event features a Vendor Village that will be located at the Placita and opens at 5 pm. The 40-foot Christmas Tree will be lit at 7 pm. There will be giveaways, food trucks, photos with Santa, and live music by "Unlyshed", starting at 6 pm.

HOLIDAY MOVIE: ELF
Finish the festivities at the Rio Grande Theatre with the special screening of "Elf". Buddy (Will Ferrell) was accidentally transported to the North Pole as a toddler and raised to adulthood among Santa's elves. Unable to shake the feeling that he doesn't fit in, the adult Buddy travels to New York, in full elf uniform, in search of his real father.

Avoid parking mayhem, a free shuttle provided by RoadRUNNER Transit will have a route from stops at City Hall, 700 N. Main St., the Third Judicial District Court, 201 W. Picacho Ave., Water St., Las Cruces St., and the Railroad Museum.
Buses will run every 20 minutes from 12:30 pm to 8:30 pm.
