Located in a historic Santa Fe Railroad depot, the Las Cruces Railroad Museum interprets the railroad history of Las Cruces and the impact of the railroad on Southern New Mexico.

Family Game Day
2nd Saturday of each month, 10 a.m. to Noon
Turn off your electronic devices and join your friends at the Railroad Museum to explore traditional games from the turn of the last century such as Dominoes, Cup-and- Ball Toss, and a variety of puzzles.
Brown Bag Lecture
2nd Tuesday of each month, 12 p.m.
Bring your lunch and listen to an expert discuss a variety of topics related to local history and trains.
Flower Making

Ages 8 and up
Celebrate summer with beautiful blooms that never need watering! Carry them in a bouquet, wear them in your hair, arrange them in a vase, or save them to decorate your Christmas tree -- the possibilities are endless.

Registration is $5. Class size is limited to 10 participants.
Rail Readers Book Club
3rd Wednesday of each month, 11 a.m.
Book clubs are a fantastic way to explore books in an informal setting and meet other people with similar interests. Each month, join the Rail Readers to discuss a different book relating to trains or local history.
Coloring Club
2nd and 4th Fridays, 10 a.m.
It’s okay to color outside the lines at the Las Cruces Railroad Museum! Recapture one of the joys of childhood in a relaxing environment at the museum. Bring your own coloring book, or explore something new with the pages and colored pencils provided by the museum.
Mrs. Prickett’s Story Time
2nd Thursdays, 11 a.m.
Join Mrs. Prickett and her family of fabulous puppets as they read books that are sure to engage children of all ages. After the story, participate in a related craft activity which is appropriate for pre-school children.
Transportation Day
Saturday, May 4, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
This year, in addition to model trains and historic re-enactments, railroad equipment, a variety of large vehicles from our partners at the City of Las Cruces - fire trucks, police vehicles, and heavy utilities equipment - will be on site for your enjoyment.
